Track relay heads to state...

The PAHS girls' track team's 3,200-meter relay -
from left, ninth grader Linda Keller, Junior Tanis Beireis,
junior Kacy Nehowig, and sophomore Kaitlyn Frenchick -
won their race at the Section 5A meet at St. John's University
on Wednesday, May 31, and qualified for the state meet.
They will run in the Class A competition on Saturday, June 10, at 3 p.m.
at Hamline University in St. Paul. In winning the section title,
the girls broke a seven-year-old school record with a time of 9:57.73,
shaving 10 seconds off the old mark.
PAHS Baseball Team...

Teammates mobbed senior John Hemingson after he hit a walkoff homerun
against Litchfield in the Subsection 20AA final
on Thursday at Howard Lake, propelling the Bulldogs
to their fifth straight subsection title. The Dogs vie
for a state berth this week in the section tourney.
On Tuesday evening, the Bulldogs defeated Delano 10-1
in the first game of the Sections 5AA play.
