Sports Briefs: Huber and Hoyme

Huber remains hot on the track
Jason Huber, rural Paynesville, adds another win to his already impressive win total this year. This was Huber’s sixth feature win of the season. Huber also finished second in the heat race. Huber will race again on Saturday night at Grove Creek.

Hoyme receives recognition
Katie Hoyme, Paynesville, earned an award for logging 500 hours in the American Quarter Horse Association Horseback Riding Program.

Hoyme also recently qualified for the state competition on her horse.

She is the daughter of Rev. Rick and Diane Hoyme.
