On Thursday, Jan. 29, Paynesville defeated Long Prairie/Grey Eagle (LPGE), in their last conference dual meet of the season, 123.65-121.05.
The victory did not come without a price though, as Camille Flanders injured her ankle during the final beam warm-up. ìItís been one of those years where we just havenít been able to stay healthy. The injuries are hard for everyone on the team, but we, the coaches, feel it is not worth having them (the injured) perform and risking long- term injuries, while they are still hurting,î said head coach Diane Dutcher.
