The Bulldogs took all five places on vault. Earning first place was Krysta Larson with an 8.1. Coming in second was Camille Flanders with an 8.05. Close behind was Kelli Fenske in third place with a 7.85. In fourth place was Michelle Wolbeck with a 7.75. Tying for fifth with a Morris gymnast was Joy Hemmesh with a score of 7.6.
Paynesville also took four places on bars. In first place was Hemmesch with a score of 7.6. Earning second was Flanders with a 7.05. Coming in third was Larson scoring a 6.7. Bringing in fourth was Wolbeck scoring a 5.5.
Larson won first place on beam with an 8.05. Jennifer Moser scored a 7.45 earning her second place. Flanders finished in fourth place with a score of 7.1. The other gymnasts did a nice job but didn’t score high enough to place in the top five.
Hemmesch led the team on floor with a score of 7.6. She finished in first place. Larson scored a 7.45 to put her in second place. Finishing in third place was Moser with a 7.25.
In the all-around competition, Larson won the competition with a score of 30.3. Hemmesch finished in second place with a score of 28.25.
