The girls started the evening on the uneven bars. They all had very nice routines; however, only two Bulldog gymnasts placed. Krysta Larson placed third with a 7.2. Placing second with an 8.0 was Joy Hemmesch.
Next the Bulldogs moved to the vault competition. Larson had a nice half-half vault earning her an 8.45 and fifth place. Kelli Fenske also had a nice half-half vault that scored an 8.5 putting her in fourth place. Placing third with an 8.6 was Hemmesch with a wonderful vault.
The next event for Paynesville was the floor exercise. All of the girls had very nice routines. Larson earned a 6.95, putting her in fifth place. Placing third with a 7.55 was Rachel Koehn. Hemmesch tumbled well and had a nice routine, which put her in second place with a 7.95.
The last event for the evening for the Bulldogs was the beam competition. Michelle Wolbeck placed fifth with a 6.9. Earning fourth was Hemmesch with a 7.6. Larson had a no-fall routine and a 7.85 earning her third place.
In the all-around competition, Larson earned third with a 30.45, and Hemmesch placed second with a 32.15.
As a team, the Bulldogs scored a season high of 118.95.
