Bullettes take third at first meet | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Paynesville's danceline, the Bullettes, finished third in their first competition of the season on Saturday at Willmar. Eight teams participated in the "Sno Dance" at Willmar High School, with four teams participating in Paynesville's class in the high kick dance. The Melrose Rosettes took first, and Minneota was second with Paynesville taking third. The team made a great first showing, according to the coaches Jeanne Virant and Barb Werlinger. The team looked strong throughout their routine and as the dance evolves throughout the season the coaches look forward to perfecting their synchronization and variety of moves. Paynesville's danceline, the Bullettes, competed at halftime on Friday night and then competed on Saturday at Willmar.
