Against Becker/Big Lake on Tuesday, Dec. 5, the Stars came out and scored first against the nine-player team. Becker/Big Lake answered with a goal, but from then on it was all Stars.
They scored six times in the remainder of the game, making the final score 7-1. Goals were scored by Brett Theisen (pictured above keeping a Delano player from getting to the goal) , Derek Dahlen (2), Darren Stomes, Dave Benson, Mike Heinen, and Luke Braun.
Goaltender Adam Hartfiel had four saves in four chances in relief of Blake Theisen, who had 20 saves.

The second game was a close, low-scoring duel between the Stars and Delano at the River Lakes Arena in Richmond on Friday.
Delano took a 1-0 lead in the first period on a power-play goal.
The only goal for the Stars was by Brett Theisen in the second period.
Delano got the win, though, scoring another goal to win 2-1.
Adam Hartfiel's thoughts on the game were as follows: "Delano was a close game, but they barely came out on top."
The Stars' next six games are all away. They played at Mora on Tuesday. They have away games at Marshall on Saturday and at Morris on Tuesday, Dec. 19.
