Running conditions were excellent. After a few cool weather meets, it was nice to have the warm sun shining while running.
Sauk Centre has a very flat course which is preferred by most runners. Most of the girls were ready to run.
After the usual pep-talk from coach Darrel Carstens, the runners were off. Leading the Bulldogs in was Erin Aagesen, finishing 11th. Amanda Lieser was close behind in 15th. Both of these girls are valuable assets to the team and will be great help in the future meets.
Camille Flanders, who has been running very consistently this year, was the third runner in for Paynesville. Flanders placed 37th.
Placing 41st and 45th for the team were Emily Glenz and Tiffany Rausch. These three girls ran in a pack for part of the race, pushing each other on.
Carin Frenchick placed 59th. Amber Michaelis finished 73rd. Both girls ran well.
