This was the first year Paynesville has ever run on Litchfieldís golf course. The calm weather and flat course pleased most of the runners and made running a little more enjoyable. However, the girls lost the conference title to Sauk Centre, who won by only five points.
The top 14 girls received All- Conference honors. Three of our seven varsity girls earned this honor. Amanda Lieser placed second. Erin Aagesen came in sixth. Tiffany Rausch also did well. She took 12th place and improved her time immensely.
Carin Frenchick just missed the cut-off. She finished in 15th place. Camille Flanders and Emily Glenz used the "pack running" method very well and placed 17th and 18th, respectively. Amber Michaelis, who is running consistently this season, placed 32nd.
