Hess takes fourth in intrasquad race

Jen Hess, a sophomore on the University of Minnesota's women's cross country team, took fourth place out of 19 runners in an intrasquad race on Saturday at the Les Bolstad Golf Course at the U of M.

Hess, a 2002 PAHS graduate, helped the Maroon Team win the intrasquad meet 22-33 by running the five-kilometer course in 19:28.5, finishing less than eight seconds behind the winner.

The Gophers will host the Oz Memorial on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 11 a.m. at the Les Bolstad Golf Course.
