In the first game, the Bulldogs played great. They were communicating, making plays, and having fun. The girls really had an exciting game and ended with a victory of 15-9.
The Bulldogs were really up before this game even started.
Now that the first game of the season was over, they were less tense and really concentrated on another win. With Steph Krupke and Jenny Mayer's assists, hitters Tanya Lieser, Courtney Karsch, Carrie Hemmesch and Joy Hemmesch were putting the ball to the floor. The Bulldogs ended with an even easier victory of 15-4.
The third game was a little different. The Bulldogs were down for a little bit, and the Dragons were up. That interfered with the Bulldogs. Litchfield pulled ahead and won a very close game of 16-14.
The Bulldogs really wanted to win this next game after losing the third. They knew that they had to pull together and play like a team if they wanted to win. They really pulled through. The Paynesville fans were cheering loud, the players were fired up and they were going to win. That's what they did. It was a win of 15-4. Good job, Bulldogs!
The Bulldogs had a home match yesterday against Maple Lake and they will travel to Sauk Centre tomorrow night. They also host St. Cloud Cathedral next Tuesday, Sept. 14. Hope to see you there.
