St. Augusta rallied to beat Regal 5-3 with a four-run rally in the eighth inning Sunday in Eden Valley. Leading 3-1 after scoring runs in the fourth, fifth, and eighth innings, Regal allowed a three-run homer by St. Augusta's James Stockman that proved to be the difference.Mike Tangen steals second in the game against Eden Valley.
Mike Beier pitched seven innings for Regal, before being lifted during the St. Augusta rally in the eighth for Tim Haines, who got two outs. Draftee Zach Nelson of Norway Lake-Sunburg got the final out of the inning.
Regal committed three errors and allowed two unearned runs.
Regal was eliminated from the Region 10C playoffs with their second loss of the tournament.

Eden Valley took an early lead and clung to it to beat Regal 6-5 in the opening round of regions in Eden Valley on Saturday.
The Hawks scored three runs in the first, and Regal scored twice in the second to make the score 3-2.
It stayed that way until the ninth, when Eden Valley scored three times in the top of the inning, including a two-run double by Gordy Pennertz. Regal matched those three runs with a three-run homer by Brad Lieser, but couldn't quite make up the deficit.
Lieser had two hits, including the homer, and drove in all five of Regal's runs.
Rob Mettenburg, a draftee from Sauk Centre, took the loss while throwing a complete game. Al Faber also threw a complete game for Eden Valley and earned the victory.
