Mackedanz named All State
Mitchell Mackedanz - a 2005 PAHS graduate and a senior on the golf team this spring - was selected to the All State Golf Team by the Minnesota State High School Golf Coaches Association. Sixteen male golfers were named - based on stroke averages - to the All State team in Class A, including Rochester Lourdes senior Andrew Alexander, the 2005 Class A champ, and Jackson County Central senior Brett Benson, the 2004 Class A champ.Mitchell Mackedanz was selected to the All State Golf Team in Class A by the Minnesota State High School Coaches Association in 2005.
Mackedanz won the individual title in the West Central Conference North this spring, averaging 38.4 strokes in five rounds and winning the title by five strokes. He earned All Conference honors for a third straight year. In 2004, he finished second in Section 5A and fourth in Class A at the state meet.
Mackedanz, the son of Mark and Mary Mackedanz, plans to attend Bemidji State University this fall and compete on the golf team.
