Thirty-four golfers competed in the championship flight Sunday. They played 27 holes of stroke play, starting on the back nine. They played the back nine twice and the front nine once.
Winning with a three-over-par total of 109 were Robert Patrick and Dave Isaacson. Patrick led after 18 holes with a total of 71 after firing a three-under-par 33 on the front nine. He shot 38 on the back nine both times.
Isaacson rallied from a three-shot deficit by shooting an even-par 35 on the back in the last round. He was three-over on his first round, but was even par after that.
Paynesville native Dave Cameron tied for third with Mark Harris at 112. Cameron was tied for the lead after playing the first two rounds in even par. Mike Vick was fifth at 113, and Dave Carothers and Scott Schroeder tied for sixth at 114.

In addition to the championship flight, 32 players competed in four eight-person flights. These golfers played nine-hole head-to-head matches.
In the first flight, the winner was John Kennedy. Mike Atkinson was second, and Gordy Pederson was the consolation champ.
John Janotta was the champion in the second flight, Jason Liestman was the runner-up, and Duane Meagher was the consolation winner.
In the third flight, Duane Olmscheid was first, Scott Pehly was second, and Harrison Hanson was third.
