The Lake Henry Lakers broke a 4-4 tie with eight runs in the bottom of the eighth inning and beat Greenwald 12-5 Sunday. The victory improved the LakersÕ Stearns County League record to 4-3.
Tyler Wuertz started the rally for the home team in the eighth by leading off the inning with a solo home run. He also had a solo home run in the sixth.
Ryan Wuertz had four hits, including a solo homer, for the Lakers.
Roger Wuertz pitched six strong innings for the Lakers, and Mike Stalboerger got the victory for three innings of relief pitching.

The Martins rallied from a 5-3 deficit with four runs in the seventh and two more in the eighth to beat New Munich 8-5 Sunday. The victory was the third for St. Martin in league games this year, against four losses.
The Martins had 14 hits, compared to six for New Munich. Sam Rothstein and Kenny Arceneau each had three hits for St. Martin, and Jeff Schmitz and Luke Rothstein added two apiece.
Tom Beier pitched six innings, but Sam Rothstein earned the pitching victory in relief.

Roscoe tied the game with two runs in the bottom of the ninth, but Elrosa scored an unearned run in the top of the tenth to defeat the Rangers 3-2.
Ryan Bauer reached on an error in the tenth for Elrosa and scored on Randy DuevalÕs single.
In the ninth, Tony Orbeck walked, Mark Winter singled, and Randy Rothstein walked to load the bases, and Rick Mackedanz scored two runners with a pinch-hit single.
Pat Illies hit a two-run homer for Elrosa in the first inning to give the Saints a 2-0 lead.
The Rangers are now 2-5 in the Stearns County League.
