Pirates break pitcher's duel in eighth against Regal

Cornbelt League League

Paynesville 7, Regal 0
Josh Williams The Paynesville Pirates broke a pitcher's duel with the Regal Eagles, scoring three runs in the eighth inning and four runs in the ninth to win 7-0 in Regal.

Pirate catcher Josh Williams (pictured at left) hit a two-out, two-run triple to left to score the first runs of the game in the top of the eighth. Leadoff hitter Darren Michaelis followed with a bloop single to center to score the Pirates' third run.
