Despite the highways, office buildings, and housing developments that line this course, the girls managed to take fifth place with a total of 212. Litchfield won with a total of 175.
The meet was hosted by St. Cloud Cathedral.

Litchfield
On Tuesday, April 18, the Bulldogs traveled to Litchfield to play in their third conference meet of the season. The girls took fifth place, trailing Cathedral by only one stroke.
The weather was the nicest the girls had played in all season with 60 degree temperatures and a nice breeze.
Albany won the meet with a total of 174. The medalist of the meet was Julie Eveslage from Albany, who shot a 39.
Sally Heitke led Paynesville with a 55. Heather Fuchs shot 57, Maria Janotta 58, and Erin O'Fallon 59. The Bulldogs' total was 229, just behind Cathedral's 228.
Amanda Glenz and Katie Wright also competed for Paynesville.
The girls played at Sauk Centre yesterday. Those scores will be in next week's paper.
The girls play at Albany tomorrow and will host a tournament in Paynesville on Saturday morning, starting at 8:30 a.m.
