Glenz named All Academic in NSIC
Amanda Glenz, a 2004 PAHS graduate and a sophomore at Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D., was named to the All Academic team in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference in women's basketball.To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a member of the varsity traveling team and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or better. They also must have reached sophomore academic standing and completed one full year at their college.
Northern State had 20 athletes named All Academic in the winter season, including seven players from their women's basketball team, which went 25-7 in 2005-06.
Glenz, the daughter of Brad and Debbie Glenz of Paynesville, is a 5' 11" forward for the Wolves. She played in sixteen games this season, averaging 5.3 minutes per game and 2.3 points per game.
