Kampsen is co-Player of the Week |
Adam Kampsen, a 2004 PAHS graduate and sophomore at Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D., was named co-Player of the Week in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Con-ference in March. Kampsen earned the honor (with Brian Menard of Winona State) by hitting .412 in ten games on the Wolves' spring baseball trip. He had 14 hits in 34 at bats with three homers, 11 RBIs, and a slugging percentage of .765. The Wolves went 19-24 last year and are 3-11 so far in 2006. Kampsen led the team last year with 13 homeruns and 45 RBIs and leads the team so far this spring in batting average (.413), homeruns (3), and RBIs (12). The sophomore third baseman is the son of Liza Kampsen of Paynesville.
