Fenske sets records for winning indoor mile

Tina (Lang) Fenske set three records in winning the indoor mile for the University of South Dakota at Vermillion Saturday. She took first with a time of 4:57.02, setting record times for the North Central Conference, the Dakota Dome, and her school.
Her time earned her the #3 ranking in Division II for the indoor mile.
She also placed third in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:11.20. The top three placers in this race all finished within one second of each other.
Fenske will run this weekend in the national indoor meet at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis.
