The Bulldogs started the night out on the bar competition. Jenni Mayer tied for fourth place, earning a 6.45. Rachel Koehn placed third with a score of 6.75. Krysta Larson took second place with a beautiful routine and a 7.35. Swinging into first place with a 7.45 was Joy Hemmesch.
Next, in the vault competition, Michelle Wolbeck placed fourth with an 8.2. Earning second place with an 8.3 was Mayer. Hemmesch dominated the vault with an 8.5 for first place.
In the floor exercise, the girls all had nice routines but only two placed. Koehn took fourth place with a 7.75. Earning third place with a score of 7.8 was Hemmesch.
In the final event of the evening, most of the Bulldogs had no-fall routines on the balance beam, which helped their scores. Hemmesch placed second with a 7.75. Larson balanced into first with a score of 8.2.
In the all-around competition, Larson took second place with 30.3. Hemmesch earned first with a total score of 31.5.
Coach Deb Nehowig commented, "The girls had a great night on all four events. It was nice to see both Joy and Krysta score in the thirties."
