Danceline takes seventh at NL-S meet |
In spite of achieving their highest scores of the season, the Bullettes received seventh place out of eight teams at the danceline competition at New London-Spicer High School on Saturday. "We were great, and they were greater. (That) sums up results from Saturday's danceline competition at NL-S," said coach Jeanne Virant. First place was awarded to Montevideo followed by Tracy and Minneota. Next were Melrose, NL-S, Renville, Paynesville, and Albany. Coaches Jeanne Virant and Barb Werlinger were pleased with the improvement the Bullettes have shown but feel the competition is challenging and getting stronger as the season progresses. The Bullettes will spend the week analyzing their scores and reworking low areas as they prepare for the West Central Conference competition on Saturday at Lac Qui Parle Valley High School. They will practice by showcasing their routine on Thursday night at halftime of the girls' basketball game against Albany.
