The dancers didn't do as well as they had hoped, placing fifth out of the five teams competing. They were a bit flabbergasted with the results, suspecting that they had placed in the top three.
The Pirouettes danced first so they got to see the other teams that danced after them. "Dancing first may have made a few dancers more nervous than usual, but that's to be expected," said Cyndi Bollman.
The Pirouettes face off against Albany, who placed second, again on Thursday night at the boys' basketball game.
They plan on revising a bit of the dance in hopes that the changes will improve their score.
