celebrates 50th anniversary...

The Paynesville Area Hospital opened 50 years ago
as a city-owned facility, costing $445,000 to build
and earning just a few thousand dollars in profits
its first year. PAHCS spent $1 million this year
on capital purchases alone and has an annual budget of $27 million.
An open house was held on Wednesday, Sept. 6,
in honor of the hospital's 50th anniversary.
