Boat parades on area lakes...
Boat parades, fireworks highlight weekend celebrations
of Independence Day. Two boats of pirates earned honorable mention
from the judges for special creativity during the boat parade
on Lake Koronis on Monday, July 4, with 18 entrants. Pictured
from right to left, Riley Flaners, Ryan Flanders, Maureen Flanders,
Clayton Lang, Christina Utsch, Eric Miller (hidden), and Josh Teicher.
The Rice Lake boat parade was on Saturday, July 2,
and featured 14 official entrants.
