Man falls through ice on Koronis |

On Monday, Dec. 29, at 6:04 p.m., sheriff deputies responded to an accident on Lake Koronis. An Iowa man fell into the water while driving his ATV to shore near Stone Gate Lodge. His ATV went into the water about 150 yards from shore. The 62-year-old man was able to pull himself out of the water. The Stearns County Sheriff's Department was assisted by the Paynesville Police Department, the Paynesville Fire and Rescue, and the Paynesville Ambulance. The man was treated and released from the Paynesville Area Hospital.
