Type-O blooddrive to be held in Paynesville

A Type-O blooddrive - for blood donors with Type-O blood - will be held on Thursday, Nov. 30, from 12:30-6:30 p.m. at Paynesville Lutheran Church. This blooddrive is sponsored by the Paynesville Area Health Care System.

This blood drive targets Type-O blood to boost waning supplies of the universal blood type, which can be given safely to patients of any blood type. Donors must be 17 years of age, weigh 110 pounds, and have a photo ID or Red Cross donor card.
