Council interviews administrator candidates tonight |
Three finalists for the vacant administrator position for the city of Paynesville will be interviewed by the city council tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 7), starting at 5 p.m. The council received 24 applications for the position, but only half of the applicants met the qulifications. The finalists are John Harren, the public utilities manager for the city of Sauk Centre; Steven Helget, the city clerk at Eagle Lake; and Nelda Remis, the city clerk at Zimmerman. The interviews are open to the public. People wishing to ask quesions need to submit questions to city hall before the meeting. Only council members will be allowed to ask questions at the interviews. The interviews will be televised live over Channel 6. The city administrator position has been vacant since April.
