City council sets Highway 23 meeting for Wednesday, Nov. 2 |

The Paynesville City Council will hold a special city council meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 6 p.m. at city hall to discuss Highway 23. The city has been informed by MnDOT that MnDOT would seek municipal consent for the new route of Highway 23 (the west alternative) starting in January 2006. The council set the meeting to discuss the project with the public and with other local government entities. The Highway 23 Task Force as well as the Paynesville Township Board of Supervisors and the Roseville Township Board of Supervisors will be specifially invited to the meeting.
