Peepers welcomes new staff |
Two new employees, Sue Savage (left) and Krista Fuchs (right) have joined the staff of Peepers Distinctive Eyewear in Paynesville. Savage is a graduate of St. Cloud Technical College, where she trained to become an optometric assistant. She began working as an intern at Peepers in July and was hired as a permanent employee in September. As an optometric assistant, she will work alongside an optometrist, do preliminary screening of patients, and perform various office duties. Savage has lived on Rice Lake for the past 12 years. She and her husband, David, like to spend time pontooning and snowmobiling. Fuchs, a Paynesville native, is a graduate of PAHS in 1997 and of Alexandria Technical College with a degree in interior decorating. Since graduating she has worked as a kitchen and bath designer and as a floral designer. She feels her creative nature will be an asset to Peepers, where she will work with patients to help them choose eyewear. When she's not working, Fuchs likes to exercise at the fitness center. She enjoys being outside, and lately, she has spent much of her spare time preparing for her August 2003 wedding.
