Health fair to be held on Thursday

A health fair will be held on Thursday, Oct. 12, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Paynesville Area Center. The health fair will offer free health screenings, including cholesterol checks and blood pressure checks, as well as information about funeral services, hospice services, nutrition, vision, Medicare Part D, and local services available to seniors. Dr. Ray Lindeman will also be available for personal health questions.

Over 15 businesses and organizations will exhibit at the health fair, including presentations by Paynesville Police Chief Kent Kortlever about cons and scams at 9:30 a.m. and again at 11 a.m.
