Highway 55 reopens

According to officials at the Minnesota Department of Transportation in Willmar, Highway 55 east of Paynesville to Eden Valley is now open to traffic. Barricades were removed at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7.

The highway has been closed since July 31. Improvements consisted of a concrete rehab, culvert repair, and adding bituminous shoulders.
