Candidates for homecoming were announced last week at Paynesville Area High School. King candidates are (L to R) Clayton Lang, Joe Nosbush, Logan Louis, Jon Lieser, and Joe Hiltner. Queen candidates are (L to R) Stephanie Hoeft, Kristy Noonan, Leanne Kolb, Amanda Olmscheid, and Stephanie Krupke. Coronation will be held Monday, Oct. 2, at 8 p.m., in the high school gym. Throughout the week special days are being planned. Monday, Oct. 2, is Wakeup Day; Tuesday, Oct. 3, Army/hunter Day; Wednesday, Oct. 4, Formal/costume Day; Thursday, Oct. 5, Spirit Day; and Friday, Oct. 6, Dress-up Day. On Friday, there will be a pep fest at the middle school at 12:15 p.m., at the elementary school at 1 p.m., and at the high school at 1:55 p.m. At 2:30 p.m., there will be a powder puff football game between the junior and senior girls. After the football game against Montevideo on Friday night, an open gym and movie night will be held at the high school. |
