"My goals are to get to know everybody in Dr. Johnson's practice and to become involved in the community. I want to continue to provide quality comprehensive dental care to his patients," Eckmann said. He added his is a family oriented practice. He also plans on expanding hours on Fridays.
All of Dr. Johnson's patient records will be transferred to Dr. Eckmann.
A native of Austin, Dr. Eckmann received his bachelor of arts degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1995 and his doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Minnesota in 1999. He did a rural dentistry internship in Blooming Prairie.
His fiancee, Jennifer, is a dentist in St. Cloud. They are planning a June wedding. Eckmann lists as his interests sports, duck hunting, and fishing.
Dr. Johnson will be working with Dr. Eckmann, consulting on patient records, until Oct. 10. People are encouraged to stop by and say goodbye and to meet Dr. Eckmann.
