Davey, a native of Grand Rapids, Minn., graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth with undergraduate and graduate degrees in physical therapy. He started at PAHCS in late July.
At PAHCS, his primary duties will be working in Watkins and Belgrade. There he will provide physical therapy to nursing home patients and outpatients. He will also be doing some inpatient and outpatient care as needed at the main physical therapy center in Paynesville.
He enjoys the variety of care he gets to provide with the mixture of patients. "I don't want to be set in one thing," he said.
"It keeps you going," he added. "It keeps you from getting tunnel vision." He does have an interest in physical therapy for pediatrics and also enjoys sports orthopedics.
Davey was exposed to physical therapy during high school, which led to his volunteering at a hospital and a nursing home before he entered college.
Davey lives in Eden Valley with his wife, who is also a physical therapist. He enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, and playing basketball.
