The new business venture will be open from 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m., offering the regular Taco Express menu of hard and soft shell tacos, burritos and a variety of nachos. Lisa Leyendecker is the new manager of the Taco Bell Express with Ann Schramel the convenience store manager. “Our intention is to serve the crowd following football, volleyball and basketball games,” Schramel said.
Remodeling work started on July 21, converting a storage area into the Taco Bell Express. Nine people have been hired to work in the new fast food area and they anticipate hiring three or four more employees.
A grand opening is being planned for the end of September or early October. Cenex is locally owned by the customer and governed by a local board.
