Residents, many who were former 4-Hers themselves, enjoyed talking with the youth about their projects. Among the projects shown at the center were calves, a horse, chickens, kittens, rabbits, flowers, sewing and woodshop projects.
In addition to showing their fair projects, the 4-Hers grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and served the noon meal to the residents at the Good Samaritan Care Center.
“It was great to see the interaction between the generations,” Mary Louis, center employee, said.
