PAHS grad joins CDFI Fund

Troy Stang, a 1990 graduate of Paynes-ville Area High School, has been appointed as the director of legislative and public affairs for the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) at the Department of the Treasury.

Troy Stang The CDFI Fund includes a financial network of nearly 700 community development financial institutions and 1,400 community development entities.

Stang most recently served as the vice president of staff and public relations for the Texas Credit Union League, where he managed all public relations and outreach initiatives for the league. Prior to that, he was the business development and investment services manager at Hiway Federal Credit Union in St. Paul, Minn; was an adjunct management instructor at the College of St. Scholastica in St. Paul; and the branch manager for the Central Minnesota Federal Credit Union's office in Paynesville.

Stang holds a master's degree in management from the College of St. Scholastica, a bachelor's degree from Concordia University in St. Paul, and an associate degree in finance from the St. Cloud Technical College.
