Fund drive to start in Eden Lake Township

The 35th annual Eden Lake Township United Fund Drive will start in the third week of August when township residents should receive mailings for the drive.

The united fund drive gives township residents an opportunity to make contributions to charity without being subjected to multiple fund drives. Residents can designate their donation to a specific local, state, or national charity, or make a general donation to the drive.

Each year, the Eden Lake Township United Fund Drive collects between $3,000 and $5,000 for charity.

Deadline for the fund drive this year will be Monday, Sept. 26. Contributions should be sent to: Elsie Buscher, secretary, at P.O. Box 634, Eden Valley, MN 55329.
