District #741 2001-02 Fee Schedule

The Paynesville Area School Board approved a new fee schedule for the 2001-02 school year at their meeting on Tuesday, July 24.

The new fee schedule includes several increases. New this year are fees for concerts ($3 for adults, $1 for K-12 students). The board also changed the requirement for a long-term teaching substitute, offering a $5 per day bonus to any substitute who works 10 days within the district. The old policy required substitutes to teach five consecutive days for the same teacher to get a $5 per day bonus. The board did not decide on rates to pay substitute clerical staff, custodians, teacher assistants, and food service workers.

The new fees are listed below, with changes in italics.

Athletic Admissions
Adults - $4 (Up from $3)
Students (K-12) - $2
Pre-schoolers - Free with adult
Senior Citizens (65 or older) - Free

Concert Admissions (New)
Adults - $3
Students (K-12) - $1
Pre-schoolers - Free with adult

Athletic Passes Students (K-5) - $15
Students (6-12) - $20
Single adult - $40 (Up from $35)
Adult couples - $70 (Up from $60)
Employees - Free for employee only

Athletic Participation Fees
K-6 Programs - Set by Community Ed.
Grades 7-8 - $35 (Up from $15)
Grades 9-12 - $45 (Up from $25)
Family max - $215 (Up from $120)
Lunch Tickets
Elementary School
Meal - $1.50 (Up from $1.40)
Additional Milk - 25¢
Reduced-price meal - 40¢

Middle/High School
Meal - $1.60 (Up from $1.50)
Additional Milk - 25¢
Reduced-price meal - 40¢

Adults
Meal - $2.50 (Up from $2.25)
Additional Milk - 25¢

Meal Allowances Breakfast - $7
Lunch - $12
Dinner - $16
(These are maximum amounts for reimbursement for activities outside the district where a meal is not provided.)

Mileage
30¢ per mile

Substitute Teachers
Occasional substitute - $90 per day (Up from $85)
Long-term substitute (after 10 days in the district) - $95 (Up from $90)

Instrument Rental
Instruments - $35 per year (Up from $30)
Percussion - $25 per year (Up from $20)

Hearing Interpreter Substitute
$10 per hour
