Paynesville Fleet Supply expands |
Paynesville Fleet Supply recently completed an expansion project that increased the store's floor space by 40 percent. The project began in October 2002 and increased the size and inventory of every department in the store. After construction finished, the store added five temporary employees in February to move merchandise and added three additional permanent employees for customer service. The store employees a total of 15 people, according to store manager Steve McCorqudale. McCorqudale likes the new bigger, brighter store and thinks customers feel the same. Customers were very patient during the long construction and moving processes, said McCorqudale. He expected a decrease in business during the project, but instead, customers got excited about the changes and business increased and continued to grow as the project was completed, he said. A grand re-opening celebration is scheduled for Friday, July 18, and Saturday, July 19. The store will celebrate with a cookout and sale.
