Kay Spooner, Paynesville, has assumed the duties of Paynesville Chamber of Commerce secretary/treasurer.She replaces Sarah Baumhardt who has accepted a job in the Twin Cities.
Spooner's new position will consist of taking minutes at chamber meetings, keeping record of the dues paid, bills, and answer inquiries about Paynesville. "There is a lot of bookkeeping involved," Spooner said.
Spooner and her husband, Bill, have been Paynesville area residents 18 years. They have three sons: Pat, Sean, and Colin.
