Brittany Lieser is the daughter of Bob and Diane Lieser, rural Paynesville. Her teachers state she is a hard worker, a good listener in class, helpful, and gets her work done.
Brittany lists as her interests and activities: basketball, choir, and student council. When asked about her feelings on winning the award, she replied, "Excellent."
Ryan Randall is the son of Scott and Elaine Randall, Paynesville. His teachers state he stays on task, completes his assignments and displays super behavior.
He lists as his hobbies and interests: football, trap shooting, fishing, horseback riding, and listening to country music.
When asked about his feelings on winning the award, Ryan replied, "Surprised."
Jessica Paul is the daughter of Rick and Jill Paul, Paynesville. Her teachers state she has good work habits, is quiet and polite, and has outstanding academic ability.
She lists as her interests: spending time with her friends. She is a member of the seventh grade basketball, volleyball, and track team.
When asked about her feelings on winning the award, Jessica replied, "I feel happy about winning this award."
Adam Kampsen is the son of Bernie and Liza Kampsen, rural Paynesville. His teachers state he is actively involved in class work and activities, is a good worker, and displays leadership. He lists as his interests: basketball and sports in general.
When asked about his feelings on winning the award, Adam replied, "Nothing much." Danielle Lieser is the daughter of Don and Kathy Lieser, Paynesville. Her teachers state she is a good listener, a hard worker and comes prepared to class.
She is a member of the eighth grade track team, cross country, and basketball team. Danielle lists as her interests: running, playing basketball, chores, and talking on the phone. When asked about her feelings on winning the award, Danielle replied, "I felt like the best person in the school."
David Gilroy is the foster son of Al and Sharon Irhke, rural Paynesville. His teachers state he comes to school ready to work, treats others with respect, and has a very positive attitude. David lists as his interests: collecting sports cards and sports. He is a member of the Knowledge Bowl team.
When asked about his feelings on winning the award, David replied, "I feel good and surprised."
