A Paynesville Area High School graduate, Johnson has been working part time with Amundson since graduation in December.
"After living in the Twin Cities 10 years, I felt the timing was right to move back to Paynesville," Johnson said. "I always had an interest in law and felt general practice law was one career a person could practice anywhere in the state."
Johnson said he will be working with real estate transfers, wills and trusts, and doing family law. "Working in a rural area, a person can do a bit of everything," he added.
Johnson and his wife Deanne are in the process of moving to Paynesville. They have a daughter, Ella, one. He lists as his interests golf, being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. "I'm looking forward to being back in Paynesville," Johnson said.
