Salesman joins the Paynesville Sports Center |
D.J. Ouimette has joined the staff of the Paynesville Sports Center as a salesman. He began in mid-April. Ouimette earned a business management degree with an emphasis in sales from Rasmussen Business College. He previously worked in the brewery in Cold Spring, in door-to-door sales, and as a carpenter. Ouimette, who grew up in Pequot Lakes, enjoys sales because he gets to talk to people and get to know them. He is excited about his job at the Paynesville Sports Center, especially since he gets to sell four wheelers, snowmobiles, boats, and "whatever the customer needs." "Who doesn't like snowmobiling, fishing, and (water)skiing. If you sell fun stuff, your job will continue to be fun. That's what I figure," he explained. The Paynesville Sports Center is open Mondays through Sundays starting at 8 a.m. They normally close at 6 p.m., but stay open until 8 p.m. on Thursday and close at 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Away from the office, Ouimette likes to fish, golf, and spend time with his wife. They live in Holdingford.
