Physician assistant earns master's degree |
Dan Lillquist, a physician assistant at the Paynesville Area Health Care System, received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree with a specialization in family medicine on Tuesday, April 30, from the University of Nebraska Physician Assistant Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Lillquist has been a member of the PAHCS medical staff since June of 2000. He graduated from Bemidji State University with majors in biology and chemistry, then attended Augsburg College in Minneapolis and obtained his Physician Assistant certification in the summer of 2000. He currently sees patients on Mondays at the Watkins Area Medical Clinic and on Tuesdays through Fridays at the Paynesville Area Medical Clinic. He and his wife Kelly reside in Paynesville.
