Safari lunch day at elementary school

Last Wednesday was a special day for the students of Paynesville Area Elementary School. As a break from the usual school lunch routine, students were greeted by cooks in safari hats and a lunch room decorated with a safari motif, as well as the soundtrack music from "The Lion King." Students were all given bag lunches with a prize inside, donated by area businesses, but every student hoped they would find a note saying they had won the grand prize, a skate board. Emily Lingl, daughter of Paula and Brad Lingl, was the lucky winner.
