Jeff Bertram pleads guilty to reduced charges

Jeff Bertram, Paynesville, pleaded guilty Monday, April 14, in Stearns County District Court to four criminal counts of violating campaign contribution laws. Under a plea agreement, 19 counts against the former DFL legislator were dropped. Bertram is scheduled to be sentenced on May 23.
