Three girls will become the 1998 Kandiyohi County Dairy Princesses and will represent Kandiyohi County at Region 5 Dairy Days in June.1997 Kandiyohi County Dairy Princesses, Megan Grahn and Nicole Klose will crown their successors at the annual banquet and coronation at 7:30 p.m. on April 17 at the Kandi Entertainment Center.
The 1998 Kandiyohi County Dairy Princesses are Danita Olson, Paynesville; Roxanne Erickson and Rachel Tepfer, both of Willmar.
Olson, 19, is the daughter of Juanita and Dan Olson, Paynesville. A senior at Paynesville Area High School, she has been active in choir, German club, student council, youth advisory board member, honors student, National Honor Society member. She also presented an original poem at the Veteran’s Day program. Among her church activities which keep her busy are: assistant librarian, nursery assistant, and a Sunday school helper.
Olson has been accepted into the nursing program at Ridgewater College and eventually plans on earning a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
