Ted's RV Land expands business
Ted's RV Land is expanding with a new line of recreational vehicles, a larger sales lot, and a new salesperson. The business will also add rentals of travel trailers and tent campers this summer. According to owner Jerry Hoekstra, Ted's RV Land purchased adjacent property (north of the existing lot) to have space for a new line of Jayco recreational vehicles, which will be added to the three lines that the business already sells.
To help sell the new line, Dan Schultz recently came on board as the newest salesperson at Ted's RV Land. A Paynesville native, Schultz spent 14 years at a Ford dealership in Litch-field, eventually becoming sales manager.
Schultz likes forming close relationships with his customers and is looking forward to new challenges and the chance to better himself.
With the busy season coming up, Schultz's biggest challenge now is learning about the products that Ted's carries.
Schultz and his wife, Diane, have three kids. He enjoys hunting and fishing and, of course, RVing with his family, he said.
